A fare is the price of carriage together with a set of conditions. The fare conditions are shown when you choose a fare and in your order. They cover carry-on and checked baggage allowances, whether the ticket can be changed or refunded, seat selection and meals.
Each service in the conditions is marked as the booking system provides it. “Included” or “Free” means the service is part of the price, “For a fee” means it is available at extra cost, and “No” means it is not available on this fare.
A fare applies to the stated flight, date and class of service. If a passenger does not show up for the first flight and does not inform the carrier before departure, the carrier may cancel the following segments of the same ticket.
A passenger's age is determined on the date of departure. An infant under 2 travels without a separate seat on an adult's lap, a child is 2 to 12 years old, and an adult is 12 or older. Discounts for children and infants depend on the fare.
For domestic flights, the fare description states the checked and carry-on baggage allowance in kilograms and the refund terms at the ticket office, with or without a fee, or that the ticket is non-refundable.
Government and airport taxes and fees are included in the price. When an unused ticket is refunded, they are refunded even on a non-refundable fare, unless the rules under which they are charged provide otherwise.
