Baggage policy
Shohin Airlines aims to make your journey clear and convenient from the very beginning. To ensure a smooth travel experience, we recommend that passengers familiarize themselves with our baggage rules before purchasing a ticket.
Carry-on Baggage
Each passenger is allowed to carry one piece of hand luggage on board, free of charge. Carry-on baggage must comply with the size and weight limits established by the airline and should fit securely in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you.
Personal items such as a handbag, laptop bag, or small backpack may be carried in addition to hand luggage, provided they meet cabin safety requirements.
Checked Baggage
The checked baggage allowance depends on the selected fare and route. Information about the permitted baggage weight and number of pieces is displayed during the booking process and indicated on the ticket. Checked baggage must be securely packed and clearly labeled. Shohin Airlines recommends avoiding the transportation of fragile or valuable items in checked baggage.
Excess and Additional Baggage
If your baggage exceeds the free allowance, you may purchase additional baggage in advance or at the airport, subject to availability. Prepaid baggage options are generally offered at more favorable rates.
Restricted and Prohibited Items
For safety reasons, certain items are prohibited or restricted for carriage in both carry-on and checked baggage. These include hazardous materials, flammable substances, and items restricted by international aviation regulations. Passengers are responsible for ensuring that their baggage complies with all applicable safety and customs regulations.
Liability and Responsibility
Shohin Airlines handles baggage with care; however, the airline’s liability for loss, delay, or damage is governed by international conventions and the airline’s conditions of carriage. Passengers are encouraged to retain baggage receipts and report any issues promptly upon arrival.
