Shohin Airlines and Airbus reach final stage of negotiations

On April 10, 2026, a meeting was held between Shohin Airlines and Airbus where the parties discussed the acquisition of 4 aircraft from the Airbus A320neo family, as well as further expansion of cooperation between the airline and one of the world’s leading aircraft manufacturers.

The visit continued the dialogue that began earlier this year in Toulouse, where a Memorandum of Understanding was signed following a meeting regarding the acquisition of 2 A320neo and 2 A321neo aircraft. The document laid the foundation for strengthening the partnership and defining key areas of cooperation.

Shohin Airlines and Airbus are developing mutually beneficial cooperation. Currently, their interaction shows steady positive momentum, and the negotiation process regarding the acquisition of aircraft is in its final stage.

It is expected that the implementation of the agreements reached will be an important step in developing the airline’s fleet and strengthening its position in the air transport market.

Shohin Airlines is a private airline registered in Tajikistan, focused on the development of national civil aviation, as well as regional and international air transportation. Currently, the airline operates helicopter equipment for specialized flights. The company is also negotiating with leading global aircraft manufacturers and exploring prospects for developing commercial passenger and cargo transportation, as well as business aviation in the Republic of Tajikistan.
