Shohin Airlines was established in June 2025 as a new national airline of Tajikistan, focused on implementing international standards, innovative technologies, and the highest requirements for safety and service quality.
From the very beginning, the airline followed a comprehensive development plan covering organizational structure, operational infrastructure, personnel recruitment, and fleet formation.
After successfully completing a multi-stage certification process, Shohin Airlines obtained its Air Operator Certificate (AOC), confirming the right to perform commercial air transportation and marking the start of operational activities.

Obtaining the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) marked a significant milestone, confirming the company’s readiness to perform commercial air transportation in accordance with established safety and quality standards.
As part of its entry into the international arena, the airline obtained all necessary identification codes and registration statuses, enabling effective interaction with global distribution systems, airports, and aviation authorities.

Expanding routes and capabilities
At the launch stage, Shohin Airlines began developing its route network with a focus on high-demand destinations, both international and domestic. The airline is planning routes connecting Tajikistan with key cities in Russia, the Middle East, Europe, South and Central Asia, as well as other regions.
In parallel, the company continues to expand its fleet, implement digital sales systems, and train flight crews, engineering personnel, and airport service specialists.
As of today, Shohin Airlines operates two Mi-8 helicopters (Mi-8AMT and Mi-8MTV–1), which have been in service since October 10, 2025.
